My Skincare Routine

Wednesday, August 29, 2018
I'm not a professional nor a beauty expert + we all have different skin problems that require different solutions & not everything works for everyone. Also note: this blog post is not sponsored. Also, all the products are hyperlinked.
I use SebaMed Liquid Face & Body Wash twice a day (morning/night) to wash my face. I use Eucerin AQUAporin ACTIVE to hydrate my skin. For my lips, I use Q.V. lip balm. I do a homemade mask of turmeric & honey (sometimes, I use Vitamin E) once every week & for my lips, I mix sugar & rose water. Side note: I still have acne scars & my skin  breaks out every once in a while.
Drinking water & eating fruits/vegetables are the best things that you can do to take care of your skin. You're skin will thank you.
With love & peace,
K

  2. 100% agree with the water side of things. I've been looking into more natural ingredients for face masks and moisturisers recently, so I'll definitely have to try the Honey and Tumeric mask x

    1. I think that natural ingredients don't show results fast, they they never irritate the skin. Best of luck & have a wonderful day! <3

  3. Drinking lots of water is always helpful when I've had a bad breakout. I also love the sound of making your own scrub; you could definitely switch up the rose water to make things a little different as well!

  6. Lovely post <3 I agree with you - drinking a lot of water and eating fresh fruit & vegetables help to keep our skin in a good condition. I love using homemade face masks! Recently I've tried a tomato mask and I really liked it. I usually prepare masks from potato flour and from fresh fruit like currants or blackberries - they're really good for my acne skin =) A few days ago I started drinking aloe juice and also use it as a skin tonic and due to it my skin is so smooth and acne disappears! :D Have a wonderful day, love!! <3

  10. I definitely agree that drinking water is the best thing you can do for your skin! I have acne but not so so bad, I’ve started using Differin Gel a few days ago, and hopefully I won’t have as many breakouts. If you have acne as well, since you mentioned your skin breaks out every once in a while, I’d definitely recommend checking it out! :)

  11. Drinking water definitely helps although I'm guilty of not drinking enough! I've been using The Body Shop's tea tree range products and I've found them to work well with my skin.

Alao I would like to say that I've just stumbled upon your blog and I'm loving it! Your photos/design/aesthetic are gorgeous :)

    1. I used The Body Shop's Tea Tree range - Sadly, it didn't work for me... It caused more break outs. Buy a 1L water bottle and keep it with you all the time, this helped me and also there's an app called "Drink Water" it's amazing to keep track. Thank you SO much, sweetheart <3

  13. I like the last statement you mentioned. I'm working on drinking more water and eating veggies, it seems like the most simplest thing gets overlooked but may just be the best thing I need to do for my skin. Thanks for sharing your routine :) I totally forgot about Eucerin products lol!
